|Connelly’s Top Ten: Daylight Savings, Pistol Pete and 6-4-3||Connolly Injury and Bruins Weekly Roundup||Red Sox 2015 Preview: Vazquez, Hanigan, Swihart||Vince Wilfork, Patriots Part Ways After 11 Seasons|
Do not let the 2 losses fool you. The Red Sox had great pitching all weekend……..well at least the rotation did.
Game 1, Daisuke Matsuzaka: 7IP, 1ER, 4BB, 7K
Game 2, Josh Beckett: 8.2 IP, 2ER, 0BB, 8K (Tied for the Major League lead in wins with 15)
Game 3, Curt Schilling: 6IP, 0ER, 0BB, 0K
Having any of those three would have given your team a great boost. Sadly only Beckett got a win out of the series as Dice-K and Schilling fell victim to our bullpen which failed to hold onto a lead.
Fantasy owners can rest easy though. Owners of Schilling, Beckett, or Dice-K can feel free to start them at any time with confidence because they will be rewarded with quality starts. You just better hope that Gagne isn’t called upon to hold their leads.
