Lester vs Cabrera In-Game Notes

-Daniel Cabrera lifetime against the Sox has a 8.39 ERA with a 1-7 record.

-Lester in his one start against the Orioles went 5 IP, allowed 4 ER, gave up 9 hits, 2 walks, and 3 K’s. Luckily after yesterday’s shut-out, the Oriole bats looking a bit less threatening. Although the contact is there.

-After Ellsbury’s steal of second Remy commented, “I can’t remember another time where the Red Sox had so much speed”. Lugo, Crisp, and Ellsbury are a lot of speed.

-Mike Lowell extended his hitting streak to 15 games. He is now hitting .330. If he finished at this mark it would be 37 points higher then his career high. Keep that in mind when you scream at your friends that we should resign him. There’s gonna be a lot of action around him during free agency.

-Remy enjoys making money off Clays no-hitter. Buy Remy’s photocopied scorecards on RemyReport.com

-Jacoby Ellsbury is looking like a major league starter for a long time. The Sox need to make room for him.
