New England Patriots Report Card: Super Bowl XLVI
|
For the first time since August 1, wideout Randy Moss attended practice today for the Patriots. Moss had been nursing a hamstring injury and did not play in any pre-season games.
With the return of Moss, the Patriots have reportedly released Reche Caldwell. Caldwell led the Patriots with 61 catches in 2006 but is most remembered for the catches he didn’t make in the AFC Championship game against the Colts.
In other news, the Pats have announced the signing of tight end Marcellus Rivers, a player they had cut on Saturday. The Pats also have signed seven players to the practice squad including linebacker Corey Mays, wideout Bam Childress and rookie offensive lineman Clint Oldenburg.
