After a four week absence due to a suspension from the NFL for taking Human Growth Hormone, safety Rodney Harrison was back at practice today in preparations for Sunday’s game against Cleaveland.
The Patriots will have a roster exemption for Harrison for one week, which means they could have 54 players on the active roster.
In other roster related news, tight end David Thomas’ season has ended before it began. The second year TE out of Texas had been battling a leg injury and the Patriots today placed him on injured reserve, listing a foot injury. With him out of the picture, Marcellus Rivers is now back in the fold. Rivers played a couple pre-season games for the Patriots this season.
