Watson Running Wild

Ben Watson is having a day. The TE out of Georgia just caught his second TD of the day, and it came at a good time.

A very lackadaisical third quarter saw the Patriots lead close within 20-10. But Brady (another 3 TD passes) just orchestrated a 9 play, 74 yard drive – aided by a Sammy Morris fourth and short conversion – which ended in the 25 yard touchdown to Watson.

CBS play-by-play commentator Greg Gumbel just said the Patriots scoreless third quarter ended a streak of 37 quarters straight where the Patriots scored some kind of points. Pretty remarkable.
