Mike Timlin Offered 1 Year Deal

According to Nick Cafardo at the Boston Globe, the Red Sox have offered Mike Timlin a 1 year deal. It might be a major league deal or a minor league deal with a major league invite.

Thats what he reports but I doubt Timlin would come back at this late stage of his career for a minor league deal. Unless he’s still playing in the majors I can’t see it being worth it to him. And definitely another team would love to have Timlin. He’s a solid reliever who can still give you a lot of innings in middle relief.
