Frank Isola writes that Quentin Richardson is still not impressed by the Celtics…not even after a 45-point defeat at the hands of them.
I don’t really care if a big deal was made. I still believe the same thing that I believed before the game. I’m a competitive athlete. I’m not about to be afraid of anyone because they have three great players. Because they have Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, are we supposed to crawl into a corner and say we’re afraid to play them? Go ask the other 29 teams and you show me a player that says he’s afraid to go play them. I’ve never heard of that.
Q may be an idiot, but this Knicks fan who commented on the article this morning is a REAL IDIOT.

GOOD FOR QRICH. HE SAID WHAT HE SUPPOSED TO SAY. AND IF THE KNICKS PLAYED THEIR GAME, THEY MIGHT HAVE HAD A SHOT AT BEATING THE CELTICS. AND WHO ON THE CELTICS SCARES YOU BESIDES, GARNETT, ALLEN AND PIERCE? DOC RIVERS? GIVE QRICH CREDIT FOR HAVING BIG ONES. IF ONLY THE REST OF THE TEAM PLAYED AS HARD AS QRICH, WE MIGHT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.
I don’t think I’d want anybody on the Knicks except David Lee or Nate Robinson. They’d be nice roleplayers. Otherwise, the Knicks suck and if they “played their game” they’d probably lose by 20 instead of 45. Still a blowout in my mind.
