Thomas hurt in a 4-3 loss

After taking a 3-0 lead, in the first period, the B’s failed to seal the deal and lost the game in OT 4-3.

The highlight of this game was the injury to Tim Thomas which leave the B’s with the rookie Tuuka Rask as their #1 goaltender. There’s no need to panic, here, since Rask showed that he’s calm and very poised between the pipes. This is a very good character test for the team and Rask. Chiarelli will probably shop for an experienced backup since both Thomas and Fernandez are on the DL. Next game: Montreal.  In their last two games, against Montreal, the B’s were humiliated. A better effort is in order…
