First Period a Killer for the B’s

They had to come strong but they finally came flat. After allowing three goals in the first period, the B’s fell short and lost the game by a count of 4-2.

For the third time this season, the B’s didn’t show up against Montreal. For undisclosed reasons, the team is playing dumb hockey against the long time hated Habs. The first period was a total killer and the B’s looked absolutely ridiculous on the ice. The team played better in the second period but when you trail by three goals, your chances to win are slim and let’s face it: their second period effort was a case of “good but too late”…

Some quick notes: The B’s acquire Alex Auld to backup Tuuka Rask since¬†Thomas and Fernandez are on the DL… Speaking of Fernandez, he was sent to Providence for conditioning purposes. Andrew Alberts continues to struggle and¬†doesn’t seems to find his game. Will Matt Lashoff be recalled soon???

  1. Ouch…The Bruins can’t expect to win if they continue to play like this.

  2. This first period was brutal and it’s not the first time, this year, that the B’s pulled out that kind of display against Montreal. They can play better but it seems that they can’t get any kind of momentum when they play the Habs. It was a bad game overall..
