Canseco Calls Mitchell Report Laughable

Steroid connoisseur Jose Canseco had some choice words for Senator George Mitchell Thursday night. Hours after being thrown out of the Mitchell news conference for not being a member of the media, Canseco cited Mitchell’s report as “laughable.” He said that Mitchell definitely didn’t dig deep enough, also saying that the report proved nothing.

He also had some choice words for Alex Rodriguez, whom Canseco loosely claims used steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs:

“I saw the list of players, and there are definitely a lot of players missing,” (Canseco) told Fox Business Network. “I don’t know what they accomplished or what they are trying to prove.”

Prodded further about players not included, Canseco said this of Alex Rodriguez: “All I can say is the Mitchell Report is incomplete. I could not believe that his name was not in the report.”

Reaction: I’d have to say that I’d be pretty floored if it comes out that A-Rod used performance-enhancing drugs. It would be much like the initial feeling I got when I heard that Jason Varitek was listed…but thankfully that list was wrong and Varitek is safe. I’m sure there will be more to come in the next few days about this issue.

  2. Why thank you. It’s the best descriptive phrase I could think of for Canseco
