Perkins Returns, Ray Allen Out

Celtics center Kendrick Perkins returned to action in tonight’s game against the Bucks after “injuring” his toe in strange circumstances. All that matters is that he’s back and Glen “Big Baby” Davis can get back to contributing off the bench.

More important in this game is that it’s the first time this season the Celtics will be playing without one of the Big Three. Ray Allen injured his ankle 3 weeks ago and has been playing with pain ever since. Now that the Celtics are 16 games over .500, I guess it’s a good time to rest your ailing all-star.

The other Allen, Tony, started in Ray’s place.
