New Week, New Challenges

After being excellent, last week, the Bruins are ready to run on all cylinders as they will face the Ottawa Senators, tonight, in Boston. Ottawa is one of the best teams in the NHL, and the least we can stay is that the Bruins will face a very stiff opposition tonight.

Quick Notes: Alex Auld received his new gears which is very welcome. The arrival of Aaron Ward and Andrew Ference, from the DL, will help the team greatly on the defensive side. Shawn Thornton and Bobby Allen received the “OK ” from the Bruins doctors and are ready to go… Aside Bergeron, the Bruins are healthy again. There are lots of rumors regarding the B’s and some potential deals to add depth at the forward position. Don’t let yourself dream about high-end players. It’s too soon, in the season, to see that kind of trades. The Bruins will use the cap space (from Manny’s injury) to help the team down the stretch. Hannu Toivonen and Brad Boyes are doing very well with their new teams. Not bad for players who were labelled as “struggling” by Chiarelli…
