Records Begin To Fall

With one pass to Randy Moss, the Patriots tied three sacred NFL records.

The Patriots now have the record for most points in a single season, eclipsing the 1999 Minnesota Vikings.

Brady now has 49 TD passes, tied with Peyton Manning’s total in 2004 for the most TD passes in a single season.

Moss now has 22 TD catches, tying Jerry Rice’s single season record from 1989 (when Rice did it in 12 games.)

Most importantly, the Pats now lead 10-7.

Update: Patriots now have most total TDs in a single season. Tom Brady set an NFL record with his 50th TD pass, connecting with Randy Moss, who set an NFL record with 23 TD receptions.
