So you want tickets to the game? Well, so does everyone else. The Boston radio station WBCN (104.1 FM) is putting on a rather interesting contest that is a pretty sweet deal. Here’s what you get if you win:

• Limousine service to and from Gillette Stadium
• Chance to hang out with Scott Zolak and the pre-game crew before the game, and if possible, even make it on the TV pre-game broadcast
• Chance to meet Gil “The Voice of the Patriots” Santos and Gino Cappelletti in the WBCN press box
• Free food?
• Two tickets to watch the game live!

Pretty sweet deal, huh? Okay, well there’s a catch. In order to get the tickets, you need to win the Patriots Trivia Bash contest. According to the Toucher and Rich show yesterday afternoon, in order to win, you will need to outlast other contest entrants in a game of Patriots trivia. Not bad, so where’s the catch? For every question you get wrong, they will damage your car! They stated that they will be taking a sledgehammer to various parts of your car: hood, headlights, windshield, etc. WBCN will have a tow-truck on-site to remove your car if it is too damaged to drive. If you get three questions wrong, you lose. The only requirement for the “car” that you bring is that it is titled in your name and can make it under its own power into the parking lot at the WBCN studio in Brighton, MA. I’m guessing they will make you sign some forms freeing WBCN of any liability for damage done to your car. Perhaps you could take out an insurance policy for the contest, since there is a probability that you would win and not have the car damaged. Either way, I’d recommend talking to your auto body friends and seeing if they have any ready-to-junkyard cars available. Or if you are “lucky” enough and have a car that already fits that description then just drive right to the studio; of course if you lose you might need to explain to your company why you can’t get to work on Monday. Or…if you are really confident in your Patriots trivia skills and know you won’t get a single question wrong, just go ahead and bring your shiny BMW to the studio.

In order to enter, you need to send an email to B-Real (B-real at wbcn.com), with your name, phone number, and age (perhaps some other information…I forget exactly, but definitely include your phone number) by 3PM on Thursday (January 17th). Might not hurt to say why you should be selected for the contest as I’m not sure that everyone who emails him will be able to to enter. You must be at the WBCN studio in Brighton on Friday, the 18th, no later than 2PM. Listen this afternoon 3-7PM for more details.
