Pictures released today show Brady walking with a cast on his right leg from an injury suffered during the Chargers game yesterday afternoon. According to the Boston Herald:
During his weekly appearance on WEEI’s “Dennis and Callahan” show, Brady didn’t dismiss the notion he had suffered some type of leg injury during Sunday’s AFC Championship win over the San Diego Chargers.
Brady was asked to respond to reports of an observer noticing that he was a little gimpy at one point during the game, and was examined by a doctor. He paused a bit before answering.
“Ah, you know, there’s always bumps and bruises. I’ll be ready for the Super Bowl,” Brady said, when asked point-blank if he had a leg injury. “I’m not worried about that. I’m not missing this one. I’d have to be on a stretcher to miss this one. There will be treatment this week. In games like this, you get a little nicked up. It’s nothing serious.”
We should see Brady suited up for Superbowl Sunday, but this news doesn’t bode well for the Patriots.
oh no!!! not Matt Cassell!!!
He just wanted sympathy sex from Gisele…
[...] a previous Tom Brady injury report, Brady was seen last night in NYC without the soft cast he had been wearing earlier in the day. [...]
LOL @ Dave…. Brady’s gonna play no matter what.
[...] we said earlier, Brady will be ready for the Superbowl in Arizona, hopefully at close to [...]
BRADy DID NOT WANT SEX FROM GISELE.
HE WAS BEING SAFE AND TAKING IT EASY! why would you want to hurt it more before the super bowl?
Brady will play no matter what but i do see him sitting out some plays especially when their up by 21 points
It was all staged by the Pats cheating coach, Bradys not really injured.
OK even if Brady was not injured, it’s definitely not “cheating” to walk around in a cast. Spygate is different – Belichick broke a rule that clearly stated he couldn’t film defensive signals from the sidelines but he chose to do it his way and it cost him. It’s my understanding that he could film from other spots in the stadium (just not on the field).
