Bruins goalie Tim Thomas was added to the Eastern Conference’s All-Star roster for the NHL All-Star game to be played this coming Sunday, January 27. He’s a replacement for Devils goalie Martin Brodeur.
Thomas has been stellar for the B’s this season, leading the league in save percentage (.930). The Bruins netminder is also eighth in the NHL in GAA (2.30).
Thomas quote obtained from the Globe’s Fluto Shinzawa:
“It feels great. I was really disappointed when I didn’t get named. Now that I have been named, I’m excited.”
