Though the loss on Sunday is still stinging, news keeps filtering out of Foxborough. On Tuesday morning, defensive back Willie Andrews was arrested in Lowell for driving an unregistered vehicle and possession of marijuana. The Patriots released the following statement yesterday:
“The conduct of our players is very important to the New England Patriots. We are aware of the report regarding Willie Andrews, but will not comment publicly on pending legal matters. As is our policy, team discipline will be handled internally.”
Andrews. 24, has not released any statements about the incident.
In other Pats news, both Tom Brady (right ankle) and Randy Moss (undisclosed) have pulled out of Sunday’s Pro Bowl due to injury. Moss’ performance on Sunday has led some to believe the receiver is suffering from some kind of injury which hampered his ability to elevate but Moss will not specify what is wrong.
This blogger also believes both Matt Light (sucking) and Logan Mankins (sucking) should also sit out the Pro Bowl due to their performances in the Super Bowl.
