Think You Know More Than The Guys of SoB?

Have you ever read a post on our blog and thought, “Pff.. what do these guys know, I know WAY more about sports!”

If you answered “Yes”, well here’s your chance to put your money where your… fingers are… and uh…

Join the Sports of Boston Friends and Family Fantasy Baseball League! (aka SoBFaFFBL!!!111!!!!)

We’re extending our membership to anyone who thinks they can hang with one of the most competitive private leagues on Yahoo! We are a 12×12 Head-to-Head format with 12 teams.

I will be blogging weekly about the happenings around the league so you will have eternal Internet fame as a member of our esteemed league!

The categories are still in the works but they are currently set at:

For Pitching: IP, W, L, CG, SV, ER, HR, BB, K, ERA, WHIP, K/9
For Hitting: R, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, K, AVG, OBP, SLG

If you’re not sure if you’re up to snuff for this league, here’s a hint: if you don’t know what all those categories stand for and mean, then that’s probably a good sign that you might not want to join. (But if you don’t, I encourage you to join a fantasy public league, it’s a lot of fun.) Also, be prepared to be able to check the league at least once a day if you want to remain the hunt.

There is only ONE spot up for grabs!

First come, first serve.

How much does this cost you say? It’s FREE! All you need is a working Yahoo! account, which most people have.

If you want to join email me at devATsportsofbostonDOTcom and I’ll hit you back with the digits and what not. I’ll only take registrations through email.
