Former Rams players and fans have dropped a lawsuit against the Patriots which claimed loss of income and punitive damages from the Patriots victory over St. Louis in Super Bowl XXXVI. The lawsuit alleged if the Patriots had taped the Rams’ final walk through before the game, the result, a 24-21 Patriots victory, was attained through cheating and the Rams would deserve the extra money for the winning team and other financial sums.
It’s not very surprising the suit was dropped as most experts didn’t see too much merit in the charges.
