Bruins Clinch Playoff Spot

The Bruins beat the Ottowa Senators 2-1 to clinch a playoff berth. They were playing without Marc Savard but still managed to win and get in with just one more game left in the regular season. Tim Thomas helped the cause in tonight’s game, making an incredible point-blank save to hold the Sens scoreless to that point.

The B’s became the fifth straight Boston sports team to make the playoffs, including the Red Sox, Revolution, Patriots, and Celtics.

More coverage of the Bruins to come as the team begins their pursuit for the Stanley Cup. Check out the Bruins Schedule to see how the team got to where they are now.
