Pierce to Join List of Celtics Rookie Fathers
Celtics captain Paul Pierce will probably miss Saturday’s game with the Charlotte Bobcats due to the birth of his first child. According to the Boston Herald, Pierce’s beautiful fiancee, Julie Landrum, is said to have already induced labor as early as Friday.
Pierce joins James Posey, Rajon Rondo, Brian Scalabrine, Kendrick Perkins, and Leon Powe as new fathers within the last year. There’s gotta be something in the water in the Celtics locker room.
