Rondo Skips Practice with Ankle Injury

Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo isn’t practicing because of a left ankle bone bruise. Rondo says he’ll continue to get treatment on the ankle, and he expects to play in Game 4 on Thursday night.

Rondo says he rolled his ankle in Tuesday night’s NBA finals game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Celtics lost the game 87-81, trimming their lead in the best-of-seven series to 2-1.

Bot Thoughts: With only a few games to go, I expect to see Rondo out there. Without him, I’d be very worried about Sam Cassell and Eddie House bringing the ball up for the rest of the series. So, we can only hope that Rondo is healthy enough to run the point.
