Some Red Sox Players Threatened Before Trip to Tampa

According to the Boston Herald, the Red Sox and Major League Baseball will be sending extra security with the team on its trip to Tampa Bay following threats made against black and Latin ballplayers on the team.

Two players were specifically threatened, according to the reports.

The FBI is aware of the situation and will be investigating.

The game between the Sox and Rays will currently go on as scheduled tonight in Tampa Bay.
