Andre Tippett Enters the Hall of Fame

Patriots linebacker Andre Tippett became only the second player in Patriots history (John Hannah was the other) to be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame after spending his entire career with the Patriots. The ceremony took place Saturday.

“I was able to live my dream. This was my dream!

I am truly humbled and I’m honored to be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.” – Andre Tippett

Who else went into the Hall of Fame?

Tippett was enshrined with Darrel Green, Art Monk, Fred Dean, Gary Zimmerman, and Emmitt Thomas.

Career Achievments

He played LB for the Pats from 1982-1993 and was selected to five Pro Bowls. In just his third season with the Patriots in 1984, Tippett finished with 18.5 sacks. He followed that with 16.5 in the Patriots Super Bowl year of 1985.
