If George were still running the show in New York Manny Ramirez would already have been signed.
The opportunity to create another Murderer’s Row and tweak the Red Sox at the same time would not have been missed by Mr. Steinbrenner. The kind of press attention this would create in the Big Apple would not be passed up by the old Maestro.
