Bruins Trade Andrew Alberts to Flyers

The Boston Bruins traded defenseman Andrew Alberts to the Philadelphia Flyers for minor league forward Ned Lukacevic and a fourth round draft pick.

The former BC star will add some beef to the Flyers’ defense. The 6’4″, 218-lb Alberts has been a healthy scratch lately in a crowded defensive rotation for the Bruins. Alberts’ departure leaves room for Matt Lashoff and Matt Hunwick.
