Mets pitcher Junior Guerra and Boston Red Sox outfielder Cristopher De La Rosa were suspended for 50 games each Friday following positive tests under baseball’s minor league drug program. Both penalties will be served at the start of the season.
De La Rosa is a member of Boston’s Dominican Summer League team. He tested positive for an indicator of the steroid stanozolol.
