Sen. Ted Kennedy Collapses in Washington

Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy, an avid Red Sox fan, collapsed today at Barack Obama’s presidential luncheon. The 76-year-old was taken out on a stretcher following the collapse. I know this isn’t necessarily sports news, but it’s serious news for the Boston area, especially considering Kennedy’s recent health problems, including brain cancer.

There appeared to be no problems with Kennedy today, as he was present at Mr. Obama’s inauguration and seemed in good spirits.

Sports of Boston will be following the latest following Kennedy’s health.

  1. Poor guy, he just works too much at this point. He should be relaxing somewhere.

  2. I agree with ya. He should not try to run for re-election
