The Bruins are getting another key offensive player back as Phil Kessel returns to the ice after missing six games with a case of mononucleosis.
Without Kessel, the Bruins are 4-1-1 as they continue to play well without numerous weapons on their front lines. Kessel is the biggest weapon yet for the B’s to return to the ice, as the 21-year-old has a team-high 24 goals this season.
Forwards Patrice Bergeron and Milan Lucic both returned to the ice Tuesday against the Capitals.
