Video: Alex Rodriguez 60 Minutes Interview in 2007

Alex Rodriguez admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs in an interview with ESPN’s Peter Gammons Monday.

In 2007, he told Katie Couric of CBS’s 60 Minutes that he never used steroids and felt he was “never over-matched on the baseball field.” It turns out, he flat-out lied.

  1. Another tragic aspect of A-Rod becoming A-Roid is the fact that his steroid use didn’t really help him, statistically, which is probably because baseball is almost totally about mental sharpness and physical coordination, not brute strength. It doesn’t make sense that such good players would mess themselves up like that.
