Injured Scalabrine Out Until April

After suffering three concussions in less than a month, Celtics forward Brian Scalabrine has been diagnosed with postconcussion syndrome and will need at least the rest of the month to recover, coach Doc Rivers said.

Reaction: I’d be worried if the Celtics didn’t sign Mikki Moore, so at least Scal has time to recover and doesn’t have to return right away. What’s amazing is that he’s no longer a joke or the towel-waving white guy, but a legitmate player off the bench. He battles for rebounds and plays solid defense, and also isn’t afraid to shoot three’s.
