Just when I thought Alex Rodriguez had made the right choice to opt for surgery and leave the public spotlight…he thrust himself right back in it.

In an article for Details Magazine (also on men.style.com), A-Rod opened up about all sorts of topics, including baseball and Madonna. What’s more interesting has to be his photoshoot, showing him admiring himself in a mirror. Yes, that picture above is A-Rod kissing himself in a mirror.

The interview was done right before the steroid news clouded Rodriguez, so the article really isn’t very juicy. It includes some interesting things about his past, but for the most part, A-Rod’s quotes were laced with his usual cliches.

Reaction: Are you surprised A-Rod is full of himself? I know he was trying to look like a “hot stud,” but it’s still a bit odd. He already had an image that he’s full of himself, and now we have actual photographs to prove it? Typical.
