Kevin Youkilis, 1B: What more can I say? He has been Boston’s best hitter by far this season. A 4-5 effort Saturday pushed his batting average to .467.
Nick Green, SS: No player really didn’t play well except for Green. The other eight Red Sox hitters reached base, but Green finished 0-3 with four men left on base.
WP – Josh Beckett (2-1)
LP – Adam Eaton (0-2)
S – Jonathan Papelbon (4)
