Patriots Draft Tyrone McKenzie With 97th Pick

The Patriots continued their busy second day at the NFL Draft, taking inside linebacker Tyrone McKenzie with the 97th overall pick. While McKenzie played outside linebacker at South Florida, he projects to play on the inside in the Pats 3-4 defensive scheme.

This selection was a compensation pick for when Asante Samuel left the Pats for Philadelphia.
