The Patriots have shaken up things even more on Sunday as cornerback Ellis Hobbs has been traded to the Eagles for two 5th round picks. We’ll have more on this in my draft analysis shortly.
Hobbs was a starter in 2008 and was very valuable in the kick return game. With a lot of new faces in the defensive secondary coming in, Hobbs seems to have been the odd man out.
The two 5th round picks were then traded to Baltimore for a fourth round pick and sixth round pick.
