Patriots Trade Third-Rounder to Jaguars

The Patriots traded their third round pick, the 73rd pick overall in the draft, to the Jacksonville Jaguars in return for a 2010 second round selection.

It’s a smart move considering the team used four second round picks and is relatively deep overall. Next year, the Pats will have even more flexibility with two second round picks already on the table.
