Orlando’s chance to take a 2-1 series lead Friday night took a major hit as the NBA has suspended point guard Rafer Alston for Game 3 of the first round series.
Alston was supended for slapping Eddie House in the back of his head in the third quarter of Game 2, as shown earlier on Sports of Boston.
Reaction: Alston’s suspension is definitely deserve, and it reflects a really stupid and careless move. His absence in Game 3 propels Anthony Johnson or Tyronn Lue to a starting role, which is not a good situation for Orlando. Rondo will run circles around them anyway, and if he’s hot, Eddie House will give them fits from beyond the arc.
