Perkins Will Play with Sore Shoulder in Game 5

After suffering a shoulder injury late in the fourth quarter of Game 4, Kendrick Perkins returned to the game after a few minutes of work from the team’s trainer. Today, Perkins says he’s ready to play in Game 5:

“I’m playing,” he said. “Straight up like that, I’m hoping, and that’s the end of that. I’m hoping.”

Good news for the Celtics. They can’t afford any more injuries.
