So we’ve lost our two playoff teams in the same week. How are we going to recover? I guess for most of us, the Bruins Game 7 against the ‘Canes will be the last hockey game we will see until next April, just enough time to rebuild our faith in them. It was a painful loss, especially since we all had high hopes for the Bruins after their great regular season this year. And for the Celtics? Well any success without Garnett was a bonus. At least we got to see Joakim Noah lose, Rafer Alston kiss a man, and Dwight Howard whine like a little girl.
But by the end of the week, we were left with only the Red Sox playing and a glimmer of light into the Patriots season. The days of the Boston triple-headers had come and gone. The villains had done their damage, the tears were shed, the playoff match-ups had ended, and we were left with a board of losses:

Sadness indeed. Now here’s what we can come to expect more of this summer:
