Former Patriots Linebacker Charged With Murder in California

Former Patriots linebacker Eric Naposki and his former lover were charged in the 1994 murder of a multimillionaire in Southern California. Naposki and that lover, Nanette McNeal, were arrested by authorities on Wednesday for the murder of William Francis McLaughlin.

Officials said McNeal stood to earn more than $1 million in life insurance from McLaughlin’s death. McNeal was also accused of writing over $100,000 in checks out of McLaughlin’s accounts.

Naposki, who along with his former girlfriend were considered suspects in this case for many years, is reportedly accused of carrying out the murder.
