Jacobs Expects Winter Classic at Fenway Park

Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs expects the NHL’s third annual Winter Classic, played outdoors on Jan. 1, to be held at Fenway Park. Jacobs believes an official announcement from the league could come in July.

Sports of Boston reported back in April that the Bruins’ likely opponent would be the arch-rival Montreal Canadiens.

It may seem impossible to imagie, but it appears a hockey rink will be on the field at Fenway Park this coming January. Will the Monster Seats be open? Will there be any field seats? This should definitley be interesting.
