The Royals have found many ways to lose over the years. But, Thursday night’s loss against the Indians takes the cake.
Other than those ridiculous midges helped the Indians beat the Yankees in the 2007 playoffs, I don’t remember animals or bugs directly leading to the result of a game. Thursday, the Indians received help from a flock of birds. Shin-Soo Choo hit a game-winning RBI single that may have been caught, but it hit a bird on the ground in center field and got by Coco Crisp. Check out the video for yourself:
