Michael Vick Visits Patriots? Not Yet…

Michael Vick

So, did Michael Vick visit Foxboro on Friday afternoon?

Many people alleged they saw Michael Vick on a flight to Boston’s Logan Airport. The rumor, according to ProFootballTalk.com, picked up some steam when WEEI broadcasted the rumor on the air.

The Miami Herald then reported that Vick was seen working out with the Patriots on the practice field. The rumor got so hot, that barstoolsports.com reported it as “fact” that Vick was meeting with the Patriots today (Friday).

Bill Belichick, meanwhile, did nothing to stop the rumors from spreading: “Have we ruled it out?” Belichick said about potentially signing Vick.  “I don’t know that it’s ruled in or ruled out.  I don’t think it’s ever been put that way, so I can’t answer that.”

So Michael Vick is a Patriot, right? Wait just a second. Vick, according to the AP, was at a bankruptcy court hearing…in Virginia, which is about 600 miles south of Boston (if you’re driving). So much for the Vick hysteria. Hasn’t this city seen enough breaking news in the last two days with David Ortiz and Victor Martinez?
