This past week marked the first week of yet another NFL season. The “experts” of Sports of Boston have rallied together once again, along with some new faces, for the biggest NFL Pick ‘Em ever. After I won last year’s Pick ‘Em, I have my work cut out for me this year with 16 other SoB staff writers to join in the fray.
The Patriots and Steelers will probably meet in the AFC Championship Game, as all 17 writers chose each team to win their division. The Patriots are the homer pick (the return of Tom Brady helps too), and the Steelers are the defending Super Bowl Champions, so that part makes sense. One of our writers has the Colts missing the playoffs, while another writer has the Jets actually making it with rookie Mark Sanchez at the helm. Yeah, we’ll see about that.
Read through the picks below, and if you think you can do better, why don’t you let us know!
The idea of the 2009 NFL Pick ‘Em is for the writers to pick all eight division winners (in both the AFC and NFC) and the two Wild Card winners in each conference.
To determine a winner, I have devised a scoring system (seen below).
Now, without further ado, the picks:

Are the indianapolis colts going to the playoffs? Because i love the colts. And they Just lost against the jets.
I know for a fact that indianapolis is in the playoffs. My panthers on the other hand I’m not show sure about. Screw all the steelers fans cuz I’m sick and tired of everybody liking them just cuz they one the super bowl. They are so bad they got beat by the Cheifs!
