Bob Arum Talks UFC in Interview…and it Goes Awry…

Just when you thought people wouldn’t say these things in public…think again. Here’s the Fanhouse interview:

If you have no clue who Bob Arum is, he’s a professional boxing promoter (*surprise*) and has been no stranger to controversy in the past.

The begin begins at 4:40. Here are some gems:

“UFC are a bunch of skinhead white guys watching people in the ring, who are also look like skinhead white guys.”
“90% of the people in the audience wear tattoos.”
“Guys rolling around like homosexuals on the ground.”
“MMA is garbage and junk.”

For sports fans of any kind, these are comments, in public, are just…shocking.

  1. LOL this old guy is ridiculous. UFC is growing and becoming big…and boxing is starving for an american heavyweight (in my opinion). I’d love to be able to enjoy boxing again.

If you can’t see either statement as fact, then you’re probably Bob Arum…
