Patriots-Falcons Injury Report: Moss, Welker Questionable

The Patriots may be starting Joey Galloway and Sam Aiken at wide receiver on Sunday, and that’s obviously not a good thing. Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and Julian Edleman are all listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Falcons. It’s likely that at least two of the three will play, but it’s still concerning.

Moss was at practice Wednesday and Thursday, but did not practice Friday due to a back injury. The fact he didn’t practice Friday is disconcerting as he may have injured himself in practice on Wednesday or Thursday, which could limit him for Sunday’s game.

Welker didn’t practice Wednesday or Friday (but practiced Thursday) and is listed as questionable for his knee injury. He’ll probably be a gametime decision. Edelman was limited Friday and is listead as questionable with an ankle injury.

The Falcons, meanwhile, have one player on the injury report: running back Jerious Norwood, who’s questionable with a head injury.
