Report: Wilhite Pulled Groin While Running From Men

The strange situation with Patriots defensive back Jonathan Wilhite got a little clearer Tuesday as police have released the details surrounding the second year player’s whereabouts on Sunday.

According to North Attleboro police, on Sunday morning Wilhite says was confronted by two men in his driveway – one of which was running towards him and shouting – so he ran away from them and went to a local Cumberland Farms and called police. Wilhite says he pulled his groin while running away.

Wilhite was a late scratch for the Patriots on Sunday, though he wasn’t really needed as the Pats cruised to victory. I’m sure we’ll hear more as details come out.
