Roethlisberger Goes Raw

Ben Roethlisberger will go from taking hits on the gridiron to giving them in the squared circle Monday night.

In recently announced news, Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be the guest host of WWE’s Monday Night Raw next week. It appears that Big Ben won’t be coming alone; the entire offensive line will be joining him. Roethlisberger will join an already lengthy list of entertaining celebrity guests as the host of WWE’s premier show.

His appearance on Raw will come just one night after facing off against the San Diego Chargers at home Sunday night. The Steelers will look to rebound from a difficult 1-2 start as Roethlisberger will look to make an impact off the field as well. Not only that, but the appearance will also come one night after the “Hell in a Cell” pay-per-view.

Perhaps the most interesting part of Monday night will be how the Pittsburgh player gets along with lifelong Boston sports fan and WWE Champion John Cena. Will Cena still be champ next Monday and taunt his fellow champ? Or, will he lose the belt and never hear the end of it from a legitimately possible playoff contender for the Patriots?
