Opening Night Live Blog – Bruins vs. Capitals

The Bruins took on the Washington Capitals in the NHL Season opener Thursday night, and fell 4-1. Hey, there’s 81 games left. No worries, right?

Capitals star Alexander Ovechkin finished with two goals and one assist, which is a great start as he goes for yet another 50-goal season. Brooks Laich scored the other two goals for the Caps.

Patrice Bergeron scored the lone goal for the Bruins on a breakway back-hander.
