Matt Light Injury Update: No Ligament Damage

There’s really good news out of Foxboro on Matt Light’s injury. According to ESPN.com, Light suffered “no significant ligament damage in his knee or ankle.”

Light was injured when center Dan Koppen accidentally rolled over his leg, causing Light to collapse. He had to be helped off the field. After the game, Light was seen with crutches but not in a knee brace, and said he was OK when asked about his condition.

There is no timetable for Light’s return.

Surprise of the century: Bill Belichick would not comment on Light’s injury.
